- It is a type of slab provided below our normal floor level in BATHROOMS, UTILITIES, LAUNDRY where a drainage system is installed
- A Sunken slab is provided to camouflage all the pipes below the floor level to avoid water splashing and to maintain the space’s artistic appeal.
- Generally, the slab is constructed at 20 to 30 cm depth from the standard floor level to install pipes and utility ducts.
- Installation of the formwork level of the sunken slab below the formwork level of the standard slab.
- Placing the reinforcement and tie them according to the design.
- Casting the slab (concrete should be dense and watertight) then curing it.
- A mixture of cement and waterproof material is sprayed on RCC sunken slab.
- A layer of plaster of cement mortar with mortar plasticizer is applied.
- Waterproofing Adhesive is used for fixing wall and floor tiles to improve Tile space, waterproofing and non-shrinkage.
- Join Sanitary pipes to avoid leakage of water using Special Sealant.
